Use lighter strokes to warm up the skin, pause long enough to build anticipation, then change rhythm or intensity when you want a stronger reaction. Impact play gets much more interesting when the receiver can't predict the next stroke. Waterproof construction also opens the door to shower or bath play.
As always with impact play, avoid the spine, kidneys, neck, and other vulnerable areas, and communicate about intensity. Good technique makes the scene hotter and safer at the same time.
